Out-Coached and Out-Played Boilers not ready to play in embarassing loss to Northern Illinois.
Heartbreak Trailing 38-30, the Boilermakers' Keith Smith found Aaron Valentin with a 15-yard touchdown pass with 1:01 left. But Kyle Adams was out of bounds when he caught Joey Elliott's pass to tie it and Oregon (1-1) held on for the 38-36 victory.
Boilers Ground Rockets Ralph Bolden ran for 234 yards and two touchdowns as Purdue beat Toledo 52-31 Saturday in Danny Hope's head coaching debut for the Boilermakers.  Bolden put up the third-best rushing total in school history in his first start.  Instead of using the pass-first offense the Boilermakers employed for 12 years under Joe Tiller, the Boilermakers overpowered Toledo with 315 yards rushing.
IU's 6th Banner The Hoosiers recently added another banner to go with their THREE national titles and two NCAA championship banners.  Congrats on that ONE conference win Loosiers!
NDSPN.com - The worldwide leader in undeserved hype. With several hundred thousand unique visitors in just 2 weeks, its obvious that everyone loves to laugh at the Domers.  ND has a special place in Old Joe's heart due to many years of listening to Domer fans bleat about their prominence.  Now that they are down, we aren't about to let them get up without a few kicks in the head.
Talk to a Hoosier With over 50,000 hits in just a few weeks, this was one the more popular Hoosier toons!  If you haven't seen it yet, take a look.  If you have, get another look and suggest additions to the Hoosier Talk cartoon.
Punch a Hoosier
Ever wish you could knock some sense into a Hoosier when they start blabbering their nonsense?  Here is your chance.

Asshat of the Week

Asshat Tom Crean

Our inagural award of Asshat of the Week has to go to Tom Crean of Indiana for his apparent overuse of the Dwyane Wade comparisons.

Purdue Pwns IU

Boilermakers putting sorry Hoosiers to shame
Even in the (very) off chance that Indiana University beats Purdue University and carts the Old Oaken Bucket back to Bloomington, the euphoria should be short-lived and muted. Because the fact is, my dear fellow IU alumni, Purdue is flat kicking our sorry Hoosier tails. In athletics. In academic reputation. In spirit. In image. In fund-raising. In tangibles. In intangibles. It is no contest. IU still has the prettier campus. But that's about it.
